Dr. Mehrazarin grew up in Southern California and received his undergraduate education and Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
He pursued a rigorous joint clinical and research training program at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he earned both a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Mehrazarin received extensive surgical training and completed specialty residency training in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery and a Master of Science Degree in Periodontics at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. During his Periodontics residency, Dr. Mehrazarin was appointed as Chief Resident, and was awarded the Kenneth L. Siegel Award, Ralph S. Kaslick Award and the Appel Periodontics Medal for Excellence in Periodontics, the Biohorizons Periodontal Scholar Award, and was appointed as a Columbia University Visiting Professor Scholar. Dr. Mehrazarin has continued to further his education and is now board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Mehrazarin enjoys cooking, swimming, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife.
